This new Hydrangea is exceptional for its abundant and long lasting flowers, the reddest of Hydrangea paniculata.
From early July, this shrub is covered in large inflorescences (up to 30-40 cm). Its strong stems bear abundant sterile flowers with large sepals.
The luxuriant panicles open white then the “diamond” turns pink, becoming deeper in full bloom. In August the flower colour changes to a spectacular bright red to purple-red tint which lasts several weeks. Flower colour can vary with exposure, climate and soil type.
A good grower, it has a bushy, even habit of average height.
